Hunter boots!

With the arrival of fall comes delicious comfort foods, the changing of leaves, brisk morning air and... Hunter boots!!

For as long as I can remember I've been a sucker for Hunter boots: the tall rubber shoes meant to be worn primarily in the rain, unless you're me, then it's more of a fall/winter/spring thing. I honestly don't know why I have such a weakness for them but there's something that makes me smile every time I put them on. Maybe it gives me an excuse to jump in puddles without consequence, or that normally I’m a very simple person and this is my way to add a little spark? Who knows, but they're really fun and if you like to channel your inner kid like me, you should look into getting yourself a pair!

Why are they so great?

1) They come in every color imaginable! So fun! Check out a few of the options below:

2) They come in a huge variety of sizes and styles. Short, mid-height, tall, narrow, wide… they’ve thought of everything! Here are a few things to consider if you’re looking to add a pair to your collection:

  • if height’s not on your side, you might want to check out their ankle boot options here.

  • if you have narrow calves like me, or awesomely great calves, the new adjustable back boots are fabulous!! Check them out here.

3) They make amazing boot accessories!! If you’re feeling rather chilly and want to dress your boots in sweaters, now you can, with boot socks! These are so comfy and cozy, and they come in a variety of styles and colors. My fav’s are the cable knit cuffs!

4) They’ll last FOREVER!! I have a few pair that I purchased years ago, and with an occasional wipe-down, they look just as good as they did when I first bought them.

5) They’re perfect for adding a little festive spark for the holidays! Channeling my inner Santa below.

There you have it, a look into of my absolute favorite things! Time to get your cozy sweater boots on, grab a seat by the fire, take a deep breath and enjoy the most beautiful season of the year!
